Help. I've stepped on my dog's paw!

Hello. A few hours ago I was on a bed and when I stepped off the bed I stepped on my dogs front paw. She has been limping on it, I lightly moved her paw and toes, she didnt yelp but flinched a little bit.  I feel bad and I am not sure what to do.  We are very tight on money and I dont want to take her to the vet if she will just heal with time.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth

This is Dec. 31st, three days after your post, so if she is not well or at least greatly better by now, she may need to be looked at by a vet.  If the foot is still very swollen and painful, it could be broken.  Hope she's okay by now.
