Head lumps on Pug

Hello. I was just curious, does anyone know what could cause numerous lumps in one area?
My fiance's pug, (2years) has numerous lumps on the top of his head, about 5 or 6 of them. they are about the size of peas. they are not hard, but not soft.. kind of in between, and they are mobile. They had just appeared overnight and have been there now for about a week. He recently had an ear infection that was not treated properly due to the fact that we are completely broke and just lost our house in a fire. He had been given benedryl for the pain, and we washed his ears everyday.. could that have anything to do with the lumps?

I'm sorry I'm a bit stumped! It's possible these lumps could be small cysts, or even sebacious cysts. If so, they would be harmless....but of course I can't be certain that's what they are.
Well, at least I can bump up your question back to the top, and hope someone else can answer to help you.
