Mass found in my Chiahuahua/Pug mix

He is only three or four years old, we got him from the shelter and he has been the perfect pet ever since, and gave us so much love you would not believe one dog was capable of doing such. I go over his body every day just because, and I noticed a little pink new looking wort like thing on his first jpint of his right leg, under side. I took him to his already scheduled vet visit and when they saw it they said it was a mass. She said we don't know what it is so we have to take a biopsy and send it in, then the real cost begins. My heart is broke and I'm so afraid for my baby. Have anyone of you had a simuliar situation with your companion and what was the outcome? I need to hear some success stories but if not help me with what I will need to face next. Thank you for all respondses and God Bless you for caring.

Thank you special mom--I found it!

Breeytoo- Can you take a photo of the leg with the lesion so we can see the size and placement? Thanks, Karla

If you could go to Breezytoo home page you can see a pic of Rusty and the attachment has a pic of what his mass looks like now. Very small, but growing.  Have you ever had a dog with something like this that turned out okay? Thank you so very much, if so what did you do?
