Red is right.  Your puppy needs to be seen by a vet ASAP.  I wouldn't even wait until morning to call your regular vet, I would take her to a veterinary ER tonight, since she is already vomiting and, like Red said, too much time has gone by already.  If you do not have a veterinary ER near you, call a poison control center and tell them what happened and ask them what you should do in a case like this, but be sure to call your vet as soon as he opens up in the morning.  Please post back and let us know how you make out.

Oil based paint is toxic because it has Cadmium in it which is metal. You should take her to the Vet ASAP for bloodwork. It has been 48 hours and the puppy has thrown up once that you know of and is not eating. The fact that she is drinking alot of water may help.

I do know of pups and dogs that have done this and turned out to be fine but it depends on the paint that was ingested. You must take her to the Vet for tests to make sure and BRING the paint with you.

You have already waited too long. Please go to the Vet.

Please let us know what the Vet tells you and how the dog is doing.
