Need help with a skin problem

I have a 14 month old female white boxer that has always had skin irritations.  These irritations are usually, but not confined to, found on her underbelly and inside of her rear legs.  The skin irritation looks like a rash (bumpy, sometimes pus filled, like a pimple on a human).
We have tried various shampoos (detergent and fragrance free, medicated, Oatmeal, etc.), foods (she is now on an all natural, no additives, preservatives, etc.), but nothing seems to help.  She doesn't act as though she is miserable, and is eating and sleeping well.
I have thought about taking her to a vet to have various allergy tests run in order to determine the cause...I would appreciate anyone that might have some input.

The dog clearly has some type of bacterial, staph or fungal infection going on and needs oral meds and topicals. Have you seen a vet dermatologist or had your reg vet consult with one? This would insure correct treatment. To keep costs down ask for human type antibiotics and antifungals and get a written Rx so you can price shop the pills yourself. Call around and don't forget wholesale clubs like costco don't require a membership to fill a Rx. I would also ditch the oatmeal shampoo and get a good one online like chlorhexiderm, hexadene, malaseb, ketochlor etc. These have antibacterial properties and some antifungal too. Once infection clears focus on a strict food elimination diet using a protein source like natures recipe venison/potato or fish/pot etc. Read food labels! Don't give your dog anything but the food you choose, water and for treats use carrots, banana, marshmallow, canned pumpkin. These are hypoallergenic. Many treats out there say hypoallergenic and are not. Chicken is a horrible ingredient found in a lot of foods and treat that are supposed to be allergy free. Prime example my dog highly allergic to chicken, beef and was on a salmon and rice diet doing great. Went to buy a labeled salmon rice canned food to mix with the dry and read the label guess what 3 ingredients in was chicken ??? I was furious I wrote the manufacturer. Imagine I didn't read that and gave it to him, what a flare up of infection he would have had. Anyway read labels. Try strict diet for 8-10 weeks if no change find a dermatologist for allergy testing. Allergy shots are a great thing, they take 6 mos to a year to take effect sometimes but long term management of allergies is key! Good luck!

Pimple like, pus filled lesion is usually an indicator of a Staph infection. Usually on belly and inside legs applies, also. She needs a vet visit for antibiotics...Good luck
