Jack left me 26 Oct 2011

It's hard to believe my Jack left me one year ago in a few days. I look up on the hill where he is buried next to
our rat terrier Scrappy. I still can remember him laying next to me and his sense of urgency that final week.
He seem to know something was not right, but things at work were so busy I kept putting it off, because
he acted strange like this before without problems. I long since forgave myself for being stupid, because
is opens up needless wounds. You never really get over losing someone you love. Family is family and
you miss them. I have a good dog in Corky and Sissy the small handicap pooch who gets by. Then this
passed spring I added a Retriever who loves to run outside named Ted. They are very close to each other,
but Ted loves the outside the most and there is were he stays safely with his invisble fence to keep him
from the road. I'm still look up to the hill and say sorry Jack, wish you were still here, but most who have hope
of see love ones, if they are good enough to go to heaven with see their pets too. Hope all is well with you,
Mark

It doesn't matter how long its been since they've been gone, it still seems like yesterday.  You remember all the stupid things they did,( and the annoying things) and it makes you smile.  I too believe that they will be waiting for us up in heaven, and if were lucky it will be a very long wait.
