Zoe has a hot spot

my shih Tzu 15 months has a hot spot has to wear head cone and she refuses to walk now,

She may adjust to it,wait her out.  Jerry is right, take it off when you are around to keep an eye on her.
There is another type of color that can be used and I think PetsMart may sell them now.

Will she walk if the cone if removed?  Can you take it off and supervise her then put it back on when she will not be watched.

I assume the cone is to prevent her from chewing/licking the hot spot.  Is the spot being treated?

Be sure she drinks water, she can go without food until good an hungry if the cone is interfering with eating.

Our Westie (Terrier) will fight me if I take a cone (E-collar) off/on.  He has, when needed, adapted to the collar until we were able to take it off.
