Hmmm......I was just looking through my freezer...trying to find something for dinner, and I came across a bag of carrots and peas....! So I thought of you.
Your dog would probably like those, and both are loaded with fiber..!
You can try some cooked pumpkin...or unsweetened canned pumpkin. Do not use pumpkin pie filling.
We also have used Shredded Wheat....our dogs love it, and don't seem to be bothered by the wheat.
You can give these to him separately or mix it in with his food... one or two times aday.
More Fiber is what he needs...how about some apples..or Sweet Potatoes...(most dogs love sweet potatoe)...and if he is just eating dry kibble, I would be sure to moisten it for him.
Make sure your dog is getting plenty of water, and exercise. Our dogs will usually "take care of business" everytime we get them out for a walk.
If he doesn't poo in a day or two...you need to get him to the vet.
