My dog has had dierea for 2 days.  He is not acting sick at all and wants to eat and drink normal.  What can I do at home to trya nd fix this.

WIth hold food @ 50% and feed Bannana's and Plain Yogurt.  My dogs LOVE bannana's and Yogurt.. should clear up in a day or 2.  Our Greyhounds get this often and so this is what we do.

i forgot to say everytime i rang my vet over this problem they told me starve her for 24/48 hrs then introduce the bland food ie chicken/rice/fish little and often she did have blood in her stools too but it cleared up on its own if your really worried though give the vet a call

i have this problem with my weimeraner, have u checked if there is any blood in the stools? when my dog does it i jus change her diet put her on fresh chicken ot tuna and rice then introduce the normal food bit by bit when it starts clearing up, she has a sensitive tummy and its taken me nearly 2 yrs to find a food that suits her and stopped her havin loose stools!! what do you feed him on?

He is a boxer and weighs about 60lbs.  He is only six months old.  Thank you for the advise I will try it.  How long do you think I should wait before I take hime to the vet?

Boiled chicken on bones or skin,natural yoghurt and boiled rice,mix it all together and give it to him in small amounts about 3-4 times a day sill it settles.Also what type of dog is he? and how big is he?
