puppy not eating properly

i have a 18 week french bulldog puppy who is not eating properly , we feed him royal canin puppy food with some soft food mixed and about a week ago he started to leave the dry food and just eat the soft food out of his bowl ,now he isnt eating that much at all seems to just sniff his food and walk away them pick at it later in the day whereas normally he would eat it as soon as it was put in his bowl. he has lost most of his baby teeth and wondered if that could be the problem and if hes finding it diffucult to eat but still thought he would try if hes hungry. any suggestions ?as im getting worried about him hes not eaten properly for a good few days and he has been sick a few times but its just like water.

thanks so much for your help, i dont think he could have eaten anything he shouldnt have we dont leave anything lying around the house that he can get hold of but he does go outside to the toilet and last week did enjoy eating the snow the little monkey. i think i may try take him to the vet today just to get him checked.

Best thing -if he's not only lost appetite, but has thrown up a few times too, is go take him to the vet...just to be checked, in case he has a problem.
It could be his teething which is the problem, that might be why he won't eat the dry food. Or it could be a tummy upset. Has he, do you think, eaten anything he shouldn't have?
