really bad carpet stains!!!!!

Hey guys! I'm new here and have a question. About 3months ago, my sister moved and brought her  female pit.Well, her dog ended up going in heat.We tried keeping "panties" on her but everytime we turned around she had them pulled off. Needless to say she messed up our carpet. My husband and I have tried just about everything over the counter-NOTHING IS WORKING! Thank goodness we live out in the boon docs, our landlord would probably kick us out! Please!!! If there is anyone who could give me some advice on what to try I'd be very greatful!!

Be sure to try this behind a door or in a hidden spot.

just lost my dog to kidney failure so the vomiting was horrible.  Bright yellow or green the last two days.  Here is what I did and it worked.  I got the Oxi Clean  (powder form in the tub)  used 1/4 cup to  about 10 ounces of warm water.  (Shake gently, or it can explode from all of the oxygen bubbles)  I sprayed around and on the stains, let it sit for a few minutes, rub.  May need a second solution.  It will turn white or seems white against and oatmean colored carpet, but when you get your carpet clean it looks new.  Oxi Clean is the best thing I have used as the stains do not come back.  There is also a carpet cleaner called Spot Shot, it is good, just spray, let it sit a few, rub.  May need a second try.  It works good.   Hope this helps.  Aggieone

Maybe check with a carpet store or manufacterer's website for cleaning tips?

I have used oxyclean - but my carpets are (or I should say "were" white) -However, it seems as if no matter what you do stains will re appear after a bit.
If you try the oxy try it in an area that is hidden first - it may bleach the color

WHat color carpet do you have? and have you tried renting a carpet shampooer?

Have her spayed before she goes into heat again.  :-)
