Menieres Disease

I have been diagnosed with Menieres disease and it only seems to be getting worse. I am having more vertigo episodes than usual. Doctor has put me on a water reducing pill and has given me Vailum to help, but is there anything else that can reduce the length of vertigo attacks? Only thing that seems to work for me is going to bed. I really need something that can stop these very quickly. It is hard to get a job when you have to tell someone that you may need to stop to have these spells run there course then continue a job.
Please help me if you know anything.
