more mri pics

Sir, thank you for your response. I have posted some more images on this link which i hope you will look at to get a better picture maybe of the IACs

http://s250.photobucket.com/albums/gg277/JeWeL41/?action=view&current=gadax1.jpg

Please can you answer the following.
1. What do you mean when you say the scan was not levelled properly? (I paid a lot of money for this scan!)
2. Is the sigmoid sinus and jugular bulb responsible for my debilitating symptoms of hearing loss, headache, screaming tinnitus, imbalance etc. It seems too much of a coincidence that it is on the side causing all my problems?
3. Why did this area enhance with contrast on one side only if it is normal?

Thank you

This photo will not load.

The leveling refers to the contrast of black versus white.  The IACs were not seen well on the pictures you gave me.  As the scan is electronic, this can be adjusted using software.

The normal variant of sigmoid sinus and jugular bulb is the way that you have always been, and is not the source of your problems.

This area enhances because it is a vascular structure and the contrast is being shown on the MRI.

Hope this helps!

Hi. If you cut and paste the link and then search jewel 41 it will ask if you want user jewel41 and if you say yes the photos will appear.

I still don't understand why the enhancement was on one side only. I am awaiting a consultation with an otolaryngologist but on the NHS I have no idea when that will be. In the meantime I have developed additional syptoms of 'heartbeat' in my ear when I lie on it and a tingly, twitchy tongue on the opposite side. Any ideas?

Thank you
