3 weeks after sinus surgary

Hello Im a dive instructer living in Egypt, About 3 months ago I had an ear infection that kept giving discomfort I went for a check up and the dr said that it might be my sinus.. I got the scan and the scan showed a deviation and a polyp, I got surgary about a week after that in cairo.. They did a septoplasty and took a away the polyp on top of it they burbed down the back of my sinusses as they saw there was swelling during the operation. The surgary itself was all abit weird as i got no explanation what they did or were going to be doing. The day after surgary it took me 9 hours to travel back by bus. by the end of the week I started to panick as I was still very week a couldnt walk up the stairs my heart was pounding and i was feeling it in my sinus extremetys and especially lips, my tong was white and my throat was sore and had white blotches. My rightear was hurting,My upper lip was num my right cheek started swelling as well. When i asked the dr or this was normal he told me that I was stressed that everything was fine.. Then when he took out the plint I was feeling a lot better.. but then the headaches started I every time I spent some time doing something physical or spent some time in the sun i would get severe headaches that could last for over a day. We are now 3 weeks after the surgary and it might be that all these things are normall but the dr here doestn explain me what to expect and what is normal he just says maybe so im getting a bit worried as i did have surgary before and it never took me so long to recover.. At the moment i still have headaches that get bad if i do any exercise or go out in the sun. My whole face is swolen to the point that everyone calls me hamster.. Two days ago i couldnt open my mounth from the presure on my sinus that is better now. but my throat and ear stays sensitive and i feel like my neck underneath my ear is swolen as well also my tong is sore and is white with red patches. I want to know if it is normal to feel like this and what i should do. I feel completely run down..and lost trust in the drs here because of lack of information.. i need to get better as my job is depending on it..
