Eardrum hole possible Tinnitus as result

6 Weeks ago I got hit in the head on the left side near my ear, this resulted in my eardrum having a hole.

After I went to ENT specialist and followed up all her advice, kept ear dry etc.
However ever since I hear a ringing sound, it seems from time to time to get softer (less present).
Than by accident this week I forcefully blowed my nose and the ringing (somekind of snowy sound got louder)
Luckily this sound diminishes a bit this week again day by day.

I do notice when hearing loud sound or some noticeable sound the ringing seems to get louder!

However last week I see it not really change anymore, what do I need to do be patient until the eardrum heals?

The ENT said it's not yet healed, beside the healing my biggest concern is Tinnitus!

How big is my chance that the Tinnitus will remain?

Please answer me with some detailed info as I am so afraid. Please advise me what to do and I will follow this up

So Tinnitus usually fades in a few days. My ENT told me today as long there is a perforated eardrum this could be the cause for a Tinnitus?
How far is this right?

And additionally in my case it is was estimated that the perforation will heal in 2 or 3 months....

Please elaborate a bit more. thank you

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
A detailed medical evaluation may be necessary for accurate diagnosis and management of your condition. The symptoms and prognosis vary in each individual.  A perforated eardrum will usually heal by itself within 6-8 weeks. It is a skin-like structure and usually heals. Your doctor may prescribe antibiotic medicines if there is an infection or risk of infection developing in the middle ear when the eardrum is healing. It is best to avoid water getting into the ear till the time it is healed. Tinnitus usually fades in a few days and, over time, hearing loss improves. For more queries and assistance be in regular follow up of your ENT specialist. Hope it helped.
Best luck and regards!
