Food particles trapped behind the tongue and Constant thick mucus

I have developed this chronic disease since 2010.

One day I have got a very painful sore throat. It felt like a bug is inside my throat wriggling its hairy legs. I went to the doctor. She diagnosed me as tonsillitis.

She prescribed my drugs. The acute sore was gone. But from then, I couldn't drink properly and swallow properly. Liquid and food often got trapped at the ending sides of my tongue, especially rice grains at the time. Thick mucus is constantly secreted from down my throat. I can’t stop hawking to clean my throat. It is particularly annoying, because it affects my work. The sound is so disgusting that it makes my colleagues loathe me.

I have seen more than 10 doctors, done endoscopy, X-ray, CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound scan. All result returned normal, except one saying a possibility of having thyroglossal cyst. But nothing can be done for that. I was advised to remove my tonsils and so it has been done. But still food bits get trapped in my throat. Mucus problem has not improved, although drinking is not a big problem now.

I feel the food bits are being cumulated in the ducts connecting my throat and my ears. When I rub my ear lobes, sometimes there are white bits (as large as 1mm cube, but sometimes so small that almost invisible) coming out. It instantly feels better. Although the GP told me that it is impossible to have food trapped there, I do feel pouches have been formed at the back, two sides of my tongue.

Now I constantly massage my ear lobes, because it occasionally make me feel better. It makes my thumbs sore and my ear lobes a lot thicker.

What can I do about this?

Thanks for your advice Dr. Anitha.
I saw a GP last year and he suggested me to do nasal douche with saline water. On the first day, the inflammation was gone immediately. It seemed to have take effect. But after that, the problem just persists. But I am still do my douche after every meal.
I wonder if very tiny and fine particles are found in my mucus is normal. I can see the little particles by naked eyes, but they are so small that I am not able to feel it.
No doctor is willing to view my mucus under the microscope although I requested it. I wonder where I can go to if I want to examine it, since the equipment or hiring some specialists are extremely expensive. But I really want to cure myself.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, the cranial nerve vagus is suppose to get stimulated on rubbing the ears and hence you could be feeling the sensation in the throat, as the vagus nerve supplies the throat as well. Otherwise they are not related. Tonsil stones, are formed when trapped debris hardens, or calcifies. This tends to occur most often in people who suffer from chronic inflammation in their tonsils or repeated bouts of tonsillitis. But as your tonsils are removed this is unlikely. If there is persisting infection, it can be managed conservatively with salt water gargles and antibiotics. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance. Regards.
