I have ringing in my ears

hi everyone

im a 17 year old male, no health problems at all. reasonably fit.
i went to a metal concert last sunday (05/09/2010) and it was in a basketball court, and it was incredibly loud and i did not wear earplugs. since then i have had ringing in my ears it is now the 9th day since the concert and all my friends who also didnt wear earplugs have no ringing. this is my first ever concert, and i am never exposed to loud noises anywhere, and my ipod is ever up to loud that i cant hear any1 else. i am very worried about it that it could be tinnitus. most people say after a concert the ringing goes after like 3-4 days. if anyone can help id really appreciate it.

I went to my local GP and he took a look and said my ears were really red and inflamed. that was wednesday (08/09/2010) and gave me some eardrops that havnt done anything... but one time a massive chunk of wax fell out of my ear and it did give some temporary relief. if any1 can shed some light on this id really appreciate it. thanks

This works gradually, so you have to keep doing it everyday and allow 3 to 4 months. The 'no ringing' time will increase gradually and you can do Bhramri for up to 21 times. The ear wax will build up more than normal.

Do this to help with ear problem.
Breathe in,
Close  your nose(nostrils) with thumb and forefinger,
Blow out 3 times keeping the mouth and nose closed (the cheeks will blow outwards).
You will notice the ear drum moving.
Do this only once per day.
Clear out any wax that has loosened after this procedure.

Bhramri Pranayam -Close eyes. Close ears with thumb, index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out slowly through nose while humming like a bee.
Duration : 5 to 11  times daily.
Keep doing this until the ear feels better.

come back to report your progress.

Hi! You may have ear wax blocking your eardrum. You can use baby oil, a drop or two, in your ear to loosen the wax. Afterwards, use a bulb syringe with lukewarm water and continue to rinse after a drop of baby oil several times a day. You will eventually see the earwax come out. It may also be tinnitus, I have hearing loss in both ears and experience this regularly. You could always make an appointment to get your hearing tested. Best of luck to you!
