Swollen Lymph nodes

Hi just wanted to know if I could get an opinion on my swollen lymph nodes.
I woke up one morning and had pain on my left side of my neck, it even hurt when I swallowed, I then noticed I had a quite enlarged sub-mandibular lymph node, the next day my right side also had a swollen node, but not as painful and large as the left side. I have no fever,  no sore throat, the swallowing pain was gone the next day, and I had the flu a month ago so I dont know if it could be that. I dont think I have an ear infection either, but my ears do feel quite blocked (like they need to pop). so could blocked ears cause lymph nodes to swell, or dare there any other ideas of what it could possibly be?
Thankyou

Eat a pickle. If you experience sudden extreme pain it's mumps.

But on a serious note...
It could be an ear infection causing the pain...it could also be dental related.
Your best bet is to either see a doctor or a dentist.

Swollen glands can also happen for no apparent reason. Mine have been known to swell one day and then be fine for months or years before acting up again. Each time the doctor finds no reason for it.
