Crackling noise in ear when swallowing

I ruptured my left eardrum from slap injury and my doc said it will heal in 2 months and prescribed me an antibiotics ear drop.aftwr a few days stopping drops i got common cold and mr left ear started making crackling noise when i swallow only amd it slowly got into my right ear and now my both ear. Any help and experiences ?
