Nasal Septum deviation to left

Hello Sir,

I am harpreet from india.

Last year, nasal spetum was deviated to left. I got breathing problems, blockage of left nasal etc. I went to doctor and he operationed my nose. after the operation i got no problem like breathing, air passage everything was ok.

but now again i am facing same problem from 3-4 months that i faced last year.
when i see inside my nose in the mirror then nasal spetum seem to be deviated to left.

My question is that
Is nasal septum can deviate again after some time after Septoplasty?
Will i have to go through operation again?

The septum typically naturally moves from side to side. If you notice you may be breathing differently out of each side from time to time. I have the opposite problem, my septum is deviated towards the right. I have also had a septoplasty but it didn't do much to solve my problem. After the years I came to realize that it got deviated to the right because I found it very comfortable to sleep on my right and slept on my right side for years. So whenever I feel like my septum is deviating too far from the center, I normally lie in bed on my left side for 5 min or so and it does the trick.

For temporary relief, since your septum is deviated to the left, you can lie in bed on your right side and if you notice after 5 min your septum will fall towards the right giving you more breathing room on the left.

The question on whether or not you will need to go through the operation would be best suited for your doctor to advise you on.

Let me know how it goes
