Hello and hope you are doing well.

Repeated infections and especially fungal infections can occur with immune deficiency disorders. Have your evaluated for these. Simple blood tests can help diagnose these conditions.

In the meantime, how about trying to act at the preventive end? Avoid contact with people suffering from throat infections. Diet which is well balanced with adequate proteins and non-refined carbohydrates with plenty of fruits and vegetables will build up immunity. In addition have good physical activity to increase your appetite and boost up stamina.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Yes, it's possbile to have viral and bacterial infections at the same time. As a long time sinus patient, I have had epsiodes where I am prescribed antibiotics for 2 weeks, think that I am getting better and then end up on another round or two of a diifferent antibiotic for similar but different issue - starts as a tonsil infection, travels to the ears and may end up as upper respiratory. Sometimes, the symptoms are severe and with on and off again fever.
I would have blood tests done to see if you have some other medical condition. My Dr. had a whole series of lab blood tests to try to determine why there was so much infammation in my body. I also had chests x-rays, sinus x-rays and a CT scan of my lungs when all the different meds did not work. It took awhile that year and with patience and taking a full week of medical leave from work, I recovered.
As the old saying goes - "Talk to your Dr" If one med or procedure does not hold the answer, by communicating all the symptoms, there is a possilbe solution.

It IS possible...especially if your allergic or immune to the antibiotics that were prescribed for you.
It may be that you have a VIRAL infection. Viral infections cannot be treated with antibiotics...only bacterial...so it would seem likely that you are suffering from viral infections or something else.
It is possible to have symptoms of one thing when in reality you have something else...such as a concussion...which would explain blood coming from the ear.
I would see the doctor about the bleeding ear...deafness could occur if not treated promptly and properly.
