Why do I feel like something is stuck in my throat?

Hi I'm 18 and I just stuck my finger back down my throat to see if possibly something is stuck well I felt something at the back of my throat it was kinda hard soft... I'm not sure but I think that's what could be bothering me but I'm not entirely sure. It started after I had a really bad acid reflux episode. It's fine when I eat and drink but when I'm like swallowing normally it bothers me it's not painful just really annoying and uncomfortable. They said I had and upper respiratory infection when i went to the hospital i wasn't prescribed any meds but this feeling does go away and then come back a lot. I had this before but not as bad as this. I also feel like I need to repeatedly force myself to burp of clear my throat too.
