I don't know if it is related, but I most of my adult life have had BB (think BB Gun) size balls inside my earlobes - they are hard and well enough formed for me to feel them with my fingers.  They come and go, then once every few years on will get real big, big enough that I can see the difference in the size of my two earlobes looking in the bathroom mirror.  When it gets this size it doesn't just go away, no it seem to keep growing until it breaks through my skin, on the back side (that was the case a month or two back, the one before was too long ago for me to remember if it too broke through the back/neck side).  This is from what I have to clean up what looks like a very large pimple broken open.  Then the earlobe goes back to flat or to small BBs.  In fact, my right earlobe was the recent case and feeling it I can still feel something larger than a BB, but it seem to be stable.  I looked on the web for information on something descriptive of my condition (don't recall the "string" at the moment) and it come up with pimple as one possibility.  I don't recall ever discussing this with my doctor nor can I say I have ever seen any "spot" showing through.

I share just as another example of strange, but apparently benign, things our bodies can do.

Unless something more develops I think I would try to ignore the "spot" and see if it goes away.. I mean think about something else when it comes into the mind, and then after days, or weeks check again.

Yes it's like a tiny little ball you know them little silver ones you would get in a maze ?? But iv tried squeezing it with tweezers daily and nothing ?? I do keep a close eye on it on a regular basis !! Yes it's feels lik it's under the skin!! There's no head on it at all it's more of a tiny lump more than anyting ! I came across it when I'd a cold in September where my nostril swelled a bit because I was excessively blowing it too hard so could it be a burst vessel or something ?

There seems to be no experience with the folks reading.  That suggests your condition is "unusual", but maybe nothing else.

How did you come across seeing this spot?  Is it near the nasal opening?  Being an old guy I have to trim the hair in my nostrils so I have to look at the nostril opening, but I can't say I've ever intentionally looked deeper into my nose.  If I did I guess I'd need a light source, flash light or the like, and a spot it seems to be would still be overlooked unless it had a very distinct color contrast.  I am a Caucasian, still I think the skin in my nose is rather darker than my skin complexion..  I really don't know.

Is there a tactile presence to the spot, that is can you feel a lump or small ball-like shape under the skin?

Again, I am of no help, but would say if it is stable, doesn't impact your quality of life somehow it may be reasonable to just keep monitoring (once a day seems like often enough)to see if there are any changes.  Change suggest a need for medical attention I believe.

Thanks for your reply :) if I push down on it it pushes down too ...it's small and hasn't changed size ...it's in my nostril on the outer side( not beside the other nostril ) it's not painful but I know it's there !! Iv been looking online for an explanation but cannot find anyone else with the same thing as me ?? I can breathe through the nostril perfectly fine too ..it's just unusual ??

Sorry you're not getting anyone who can relate.  Perhaps a better explanation will help produce helpful input.

I can't translate "spot" is it just a coloration or is it a something with its own physical size?  Does it cause breathing problems, is in only in one nostril.  Does it move from side to side when your are lying on your side.
