White lump that i keep caughing out

okay, so i am a 14 yr. old female and in the back of my throat, on the left side of the ...little dangley thing (i forget what its called!) i get a small white lump grow out of my throat. it is a yellow white and its just small, maybe a few milimeters or something but it grows in my throat and i can feel it and see it if i look inside my mouth in the mirror. it happens every now and then, every few months and when it gets to a certain size i cough it out. sometimes it will grow back or sometimes it will just stop for a few months, then grow again. it is a solid and has a.. srong smell, i guess. i don't kno what it is and if someone knew that would be great! thanks

okay, thanks! i didn't know if it ws normal or not. and i thought it was called uvula but i wasn't sure. anyway, thanks alot

No worries.  The "little dangley thing" is called your uvula.  These "lumps" are tonsil stones.  It is nothing serious.  

Just goggle "tonsil stones."
