Hello and hope you are doing well.

Please continue with the inhalers, it will help clear up the secretions. And the antibiotic will help with the infection. Snoring can occur if the nasal passages are blocked. If the symptoms worsen re consult your doctor for alternate medications and wait for the specialist consult to rule out lung disorders.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

His symptoms could be due to Bronchiolitis, which is a common lung infection, often caused by a virus. Bronchiolitis can cause bronchial spasm and repeated coughing, more so in the night. For therapy bronchodilators are given as syrups or inhalers.
On initiating therapy with this, the cough symptoms are likely to increase in an effort to bring out the secretions. Repeated steam inhalations can help loosen up and bring out the secretions, though this should be done prior to meals. These episodes should subside as his immunity builds up.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
