How can I clean my ear canal with a ruptured ear drum and middle ear infection?

I've been on antibiotics for the last three days. The pain on the first day was very substantial, after taking ibuprofen I was able to sleep for a few hours, I woke up only a few hours later to extreme pain and bloody/brown discharged dried to the area around my ear. The pain has almost completely subsided now, but as i cannot be certain and only guess by feeling, there is a bunch of dried discharge and blood sitting in my ear canal around the ear drum. That cannot be healthy for the healing of my ear. How do I go about cleaning my ear canal out safely?
