My 3 year old is complaining saying her mouth hurts. She is taking Bactrim. Could it be yeast infection in her mouth I got that when I took Bactrim. What should I do to help ease the pain for her?

Thanks so much for your respond. But she is 3 years old she already has all of her teeth. It was thrush from the Bactrim medicine she was taking. I feed her lots of active culture yogurt and cottae cheese. She is better now.

Hi, maybe she is teething as well as having an infection. If it is thrush i would use yakult or lots of active culture yoghurt. Good luck hope she feels better.
