pain behind ear, could this be sinus problem?

I have pain directly behind my right ear and I think it may be swollen.  It hurts when pressure is on it or if I turn my head side to side.  My sinuses havent acted up yet this year and i am not sick right now.  At first I thought I pulled a muscle in my neck, but then realized its not in my neck but behind my ear.  I've had this pain for 2 days now.  What could this be?  Should I see a doctor or wait a couple more days to see if the pain goes away?
