Burning Sensation in the stomach and kind of hunger and thirsty feeling! Plz Suggest

Hi,

Im 23 year old. I have gained weight at recent times. These days,(for past 1 month) I sometimes have a burning sensation in my stomach.I feel this only sometime and not all times. But, When I get this sensation, I thought it may be hunger ,so I eat. But then too, this sensation continues. So, I drink or eat something to cool down this burning sensation. Buttermilk (cold), Icecreams have been effective on this. But these days I look for ice creams to cool down whenever I get this strange feeling in my stomach. One day I had 5 scoops of ice cream in the night and ended up with that as my dinner. I somehow dont feel anything serious. However, I want to consider this at earliest for health. Plz suggest

You may be having some form of physical stomach distress, and might want to see a doctor.  This could also be an anxiety equivalent, and you have started a bad habit of using food as self medication...check out emotional eating site I have sponsored for more information.
