lexapro & xanex
i was wondering if lexapro or xanex make you gain weight?
& if so is there any way to fight it?
i exercise 4-6 times a week, cardio and weightlifting.
i just started both pills just a few days a go but i am very concerned.
i have also had a very hard time sleeping the past few nights, do they cause problems with sleep?

When I first started to take Lexapro I gained a little weight but nothing that I couldn't take off in a few weeks. The xanax did not make me gain weight that I know of. Good luck
i take xanax .25 mg 3 times a day and i gained weight ;0(

Xanax is not assosiated with weight gain, and if anything, helps you sleep better. Lexapro does sometimes have weight gain as side effect, and acts like a stimulant so can cause sleep disturbance. If you control your emotional eating, you will be all righ.
