Skin tenderness in private areas?

I'm not sure if this is appropriate for an open forum but I'll try and keep it as PG as possible.
I have EDS (III) and after having been single for about 5 years I'm now in a relationship again. During the 5 years as a single I was never intimate with anyone, but I did notice an EDS related deterioration in my general physical status (joints, eye sight etc). Now that I'm in a relationship again I have noticed that I always get very tender in my private parts after being intimate with my boyfriend. I know it's not an STD/STI as we've both been checked so all I can think is that it's related to my EDS & tissue fragility.

Has anyone else noticed the same? And if so, is there anything that helps it?

I think it probably does affect this.  I have issues like this too.  Be sure to void before and after.  It will help with the UTI issues.  I think your partner needs to know these things and he/she can be more gentle with you.  With time, you will be less sensitive.  But you've been a virgin for awhile now.  Keep the communication open so they won't think it's them because it's hard to hide when there are pain issues.

i remember the first/last 3times i was intimite, i encounterred the same reaction, plus i would(more than i already do) get UTIs & Kidney infections. I believe this would have to do with our crappy collagen production, causing fragility.
