burst blood vessels in the eye twice a month

I am female, 43 years old, very fit and healthy. I started getting burst blood vessels on the whites of my eyes about 6 months ago.  I have never experienced this condition before.  It happens at least twice a month in different parts of my eye and in both eyes. It is painless and does not affect my vision.  I don't even feel it happening.  People just start saying to me, "Ewww your eye is bleeding. It's so gross".  It looks so awful that I feel like I should wear dark glasses. I have not changed anything about my lifestyle. I have had my blood pressure checked by my GP and she assures me it's fine.  I even had full blood work done to see if I was anemic.  I'm not.  I had a full eye exmination by my Opthamologist and was assured that it's just a case of "many fine capillaries".  I don't believe that this is happening for no reason.  I'm scared it may be a brain tumour or something.  Why would this suddenly start happening to me on a regular basis?  Should I ask my Doctor for an MRI?  Do you know of any conditions that could cause this to happen so regularly?

I have been suffering with the same condition for about two years.  I went to five different opthamalogists before someone told me that I have conjunctival lymphangiectasia.  It is a benign condition but subconjunctival hemorrhages look gross.  There is surgery for this condition and right now I am investigating it. Meanwhile, I would recommend staying away from Aspirin , Ibuprofen or any other medication that can cause bleeding.

brain tumor does not cause subconjunctival hemorrhages, so please stop worrying about that.  i've never even heard of a brain or eye tumor of any kind causing subconjunctival hemorrhages.  no, you do not need an mri.  if you have already had blood testing and it was negative/normal, then there's not much else to do.

repeated subconuunctival hemorrhages are from some blood or blood pressure problem.  hypertension, diabetes, lupus, sickle cell anemia, other types of anemia, etc.  not from any mass in your head or brain or eye.  if your other docs have tested you for blood disease, then i dont know what else to tell you.  'idiopathic', i guess.
