2 new glasses different from each other

I recently received a new, slightly stronger prescription and decided to get both a new pair of regular eyeglasses and a new pair of prescription sunglasses.  I got the sunglasses from LensCrafters and, while I had problems with the first pair (which were hi-index), I returned them for regular ol' polycarbonate and they have been fine.  Attempting to save a little money, I decided to try Warby Parker for my regular eyeglasses.  I opted for polycarbonate as well, and while they seem mostly fine, transitioning between the two glasses is quite uncomfortable for me.  If I had to guess what the difference is, I'd say that there is more ( )-type distortion around the periphery in the Warby Parker glasses.  I've been with the Warby Parkers for about a week now and the transitions aren't getting any easier.

When I ordered the online glasses, I used the prescription and PD measurement I got from Lenscrafters, which are below:
OD SPH -5.75 CYL -.5 AXIS 174
OS SPH -5.50 CYL -.75 AXIS 7
PD 56

Any ideas on how I can mitigate this problem?  I can still return the Warby Parkers, but I love them and would like to avoid the LensCrafters price tag as I have no vision insurance.

It is important that your pupillary distance be measured accurately so that you're seeing through the center of the lens.  If not, you will experience distortion.  I know it will cost more, but you'd be much better off going back to LensCrafters and having the lenses fitted to your face properly.

Thanks for the response.  I forgot to mention that both lenses are polycarbonate.  Are there different types of polycarbonate lenses?  If both lenses are polycarb, am I essentially sunk and have to go back to LensCrafters?

Get both glasses of the same material. and ordering online is not a good idea for a highly myopic prescription.  The PD does not determine the optical center.  This has to be measure on your face.  Each person anatomy is different.
