23M Is only swelling and pain in the left eye a sign of visual fatigue?

23M,-8.5D,Suffering from dry eye,Do not smoke, drink or use psychotropic substances I have been actively treating dry eye recently, including using artificial tears and squeezing massage to clear the tarsal gland. My current situation is that my left eye sometimes feels obviously dry, but my right eye does not, which is much better than the dry eyes all day before. My left eye always feels tired, swollen and hot, and cold compress can only temporarily relieve it. I wonder if this is because the left eye dry eye disease is more serious? Do I need to check for other problems (such as glaucoma)? Why do you feel different when your eyes are used for the same day?

Dry eyes are not related to glaucoma.  Paired organs do not react or behave in the same manner and one side being worse it common.  Think older people with one bad hip that needs replaced and the other working fine. Both are the same age.  People lose hearing at different rates in one ear and glaucoma is ofter worse in one eye. There are many different artificial tears on the market. They are not all the same. Keep a list of those you try and use the one that lasts the longest and works the best.   I hear this every week "I've tried artificial tears and they don't work"  I say "how many did you try and what was the brand name" and they reply "2 or 3, they are all the same"     NOT TRUE. To help them understand I saw "Would you walk into a restaurant and say bring me anything because all food is the same" Of course not, you eat different foods to see what you like and don't like. They you order what you like. Before you say they don't work you should try more than a dozen types.

Thank you for your reply, I guess I didn't express my thoughts clearly, I am currently using artificial tears that make me feel comfortable and the treatment of unblocking the lid gland has given me a lot of relief from my dry eye.
I would like to know if the fatigue I feel in my left eye and the swelling of the skin around my eye as well as the heat is a general sign of dry eye? (I am afraid that this is a sign of other diseases such as glaucoma or something wrong with my brain)
Also, do you have any ideas on how to relieve eye strain? I need to read papers on the computer now and I still feel fatigue even after implementing the 202020 rule.
With all due respect.,  this is your 19th post. It is evident you have a very high degree of anxiey or hypochondriasis or both.  I have given you all the information I can and will have no further commetns.  You might start using the anxiety forums here.
Sorry, I will start contacting psychologists.
Best of luck.
