My daughter is 6 years old and she has
cylindrical distant eye power

-0.5 in right eye axis 180 and
-0.5 in left eye axis 175

1. Does she need to wear glasses all the time.

2. Please suggest me the options to remove this eyepowers
     if possible

3.  Is this called myopia

4. Will this power increase by age.

Left Eye : Sphere : -0.25 , CYL : -2.25 , Axis : 180

Doctor suggest us to wear glasses
If she wear glasses will it cure , is that a big problem, will this increase by age.Please suggest how to over come from this problem.

Yes your daughter needs to wear glasses all her waking hours and be closely followed by a pediatric ophthalmologist. It does not say whether her eyes are healthy nor what her vision is with glasses. Often in a RX like this the Right Eye (RE) becomes amblyopic and does not see as well as the other eye and patching of the LE is necessary. Sometimes eye muscles problems (squint) develop. The glasses do not make the astigmatism go away and your child will always need glasses or contacts or need refractive surgery when older. Check other children if you have any.

You have omitted part of a glasses prescription and I cannot answer your question.

The prescription should give Sphere (first number) cylinder (second number) and Axis (third number) each should be preceeded by a + sign or - sign.
