Hi, first post....
Recently, over the past week, my right eye has started bouncing at approximately twice my heart rate.
Its more pronounced when I look to the edges of my visual field.
If I cover my right eye, my vision is normal/stationary. Covering my left eye and the 'bounce' is present.
To give an indication of the severity of movement, looking at a point around 16" away, it seems to bounce (in an eliptical up and down motion) by around a few mil or around 1/16th".
I have experienced at times, either through inebriation, extreme tiredness or being gerenally very hot or of particularly high or low blood pressure, a possibly identicle visual disturbance, but those are always in both eyes simultaneously, but are usually at the rate of my heart beat/pulse.
It has been doing this constantly, in the same eye, over the past five days or so. I don't have much time to get to the doctors and cannot afford the time off unless in may indicate something serious (like glaucoma). Although, mentioning glaucoma, I have been informed that the ingestion of cannabis dilates the duct in the eye, by whose constriction/blockage leads to glaucoma. I noticed no change in the visual disturbance during the two days amidst this disturbance, I legally/non-illegally consumed cannabis (international waters, Holland etc.). May this indicate that the cause is not glaucoma?
And if not an indication of glaucoma, what could it be?
Cheers.
