Lightning in left eye
Hello Im 45 year old female The last year and a half I am having lightning all threw my left eye, and it stays for about 20 mins and its just not one line of lightning its alot and even when i blink or close my eyes its still there
You need to see an ophthalmologist for an exam and your general physician for a physical and basic blood work. This is not normal. It could be due to disease of the eye, brain, heart or blood vessels. Most common cause would me a migraine variant maybe eye migraine without headache.

It's only migraine after other more serious causes are ruled out by the Eye MD ophthalmologist and your family MD
