Hyperopia

My 5 yo daughter has just been diagnosed with hypropia (3,5 in both eyes) and she also has strabismus once in a while strabismus. i have been told this may correct itself by the time she is 10-11. Should she wear glasses, or shall i risk it and monitor her every 6 months ?
If I do not take immediate action now (wear glasses) how will this impact her health ?
Do children usually improve their sight after wearing glasses, and if so how long will she have to wear them ?
Please give advise since she is our only child, and she is very concerned wuth her looks et, so i am worried of impact on her self-condidence.

How is ur daughter doing right now ? My daughter turned 5 in June and has been recently diagnosed with hyperopia and same symptoms ? Was wondering how ur daughter reacted to glasses and whether the glasses helped with the squinting.

Thank you very much. If she wears glasses is there a chance vision will improve at 12-14 and that she may wear them less  at a later age ?
In future could she undergo surgery to rectify problem ?

She needs to wear the glasses.  This is a critical age and she could lose vision in one eye if the eyes do not remain straight.
