Sparklers in eyes

I just had an episode a few minutes ago.  It was like sparkers (little silver dots) floating in both eyes all zigzaggy.  Not stringy, just like watching little dots float down and away....several in each eye.  I have never had that happen before.  They went away within a minute.  I do once in a while get spots in my eye like someone has put vaseline in it and I blink and blink thinking it will make the "debris" if it is debris go away.  It usually does within a few minutes.  But this episode today was differnt.  It really was like "seeing stars."  Should I be concerned?

I am 32, female and do have a history of migraines.  I had a recent eye exam (because I've had lasik twice) and they said my eyes looked good but not sure why my vision keeps getting worse.  I'm also awaiting appointment to follow up on MRI that shows I have "low lying cerebellar tonsils."

This depends on other factors and your age.  The most serious thing to consider is a vascular problem.  You should see your ophthalmologist for an exam to see if additional tests are needed.
