Clogged gland or chalzion?

I've had repeated sties in one spot on my lower eye lid for years and recently had several times when the little pimple would be present and I could see the pus in the gland inside the eyelid.  I could gently pull the eyelid to the side and all the gunk would easily come out.  Now I have a white bump/ line area inside the eyelid with no 'head'. The 'thing in your eye sensation' is gone after 36 hours,  but I can still see it.  I've not tried the pulling but wondered if this sounds like a clogged gland or if the usual hot compresses would be enough.

My eye doctor is over an hour away and appointments are over a month out.

An optometrist told me about 6 months ago I have blepharitis and my dermatologist just dx'd me with rosacea (skin and ocular).  I'll admit that I haven't been doing the recommended washings and had to stop the Oracea due to diarrhea.

You condition is very difficult to control.  You really need to do lid hygiene and periodically use a topical antibiotic (Azasite works well).  You may now have a chalazion.  This can slowly decrease in size without surgery.  However,  the chance for this is better with control of the blepharitis.

I've not been able to locate the foam Thera Tears cleanser except over the internet. I'm using warm compresses and baby shampoo until it arrives, plus artificial tears.  I did see Thera tears and a gel drop. Should I invest in those ( If so, which are best) or are the artificial tears enough?

I'm unable to take the Oracea.  Honestly, my nose gets red for a minute or so at times and I'll have one days worth of white pimples on my nose if in the sun. I do see a thickening or change of texture on my 63 year old nose but my family cannot see what I'm seeing plus make up covers it.  Not sure what to ask for next!

Eye exam first week of April.

Thank you Dr. Oyakawa,  I plan on getting some of the wash recommended in another thread and using that regularly.  I can get in to see my eye doctor in late April.  I really appreciate your help.
