Cobblestoning in eyes

Hi,
My daughter has begun wearing contact lenses this past year and when she went in for her annual checkup, she was told that she would have to try a different kind of lens so that her eyes could breathe.  They said that her eyes were "cobblestoning" and making too many red blood cells (or vessels?)
Is this something I should have checked out by a specialist?  She is only 17.
Thank you,
Repfam

I am not sure what you are referring to.  Please have her see an ophthalmologist.
