Seeing purple rays of light at night

At night I see purple rays of light that are in a circular shape. I see them when its dark and am looking at the red light from the alarm clock or looking at light shining in through cracked doors.

The rays of light seems to move or bend around when I move my head

Can you explain what is happening? Also its been like this for like 3 years or so.

Oh my God, I have been searching for people who have this for years now and you are literally the only one I could find. Glasses will not stop it for I have them and still see it appear, although it does become a bit weaker. Do you see it with blue lights as well or have any other odd things in your field of vision?

There are numerous causes.  You could need glasses likely for astigmatism, you could have disease of the cornea, lens or macula. Make an appointment with a Eye MD ophthalmologist to determine what the problem is.
