Corneal Neovascularization

today i noticed that there were a couple of faint blood vessels in the left corner of my right eye. The were growing a bit towards my iris. Should i be worried? They arent really defined well and i have to look hard to see them. I wear contact lenses for about 3 hours per week for sports. I take them out immediately afterwards. So i wouldnt really consider myself a heavy contact lens wearer.

ok so the faint red vessels got even fainter when i woke up today. Its so faint that i can hardly see them at all. Maybe i was just a bit rough when i took my contact lenses out of my eyes and that irritated them a bit?

This is relatively common.  It can be due to the contact lens irritation, dryness or mild blepharitis.  See an ophthalmologist if it gets worse.
