Possible Treatment for microphthalmus Eyes.
Please let me have exact guidelines to treat my son who is affected with Microphthalmus eyes on both the eyes since his birth. Its congenital and now he is 10 months old.
His present condition is, he can keep track of the direction of the light source and the make his hand reach the objects kept in front of him that which hides the light or such objects that illuminates light say light toys...
We could see the reflection of the light on his eyes, but not sure whether these are passing through his lens.
He is having very sharp ears. very active all the day long. We are totally blank on the resource/ oppurtunities available to provide him any better treatment in an effort to regularize his vision...
I had already consulted with Shankara Netralaya , where we were prescribed to " Wait and Watch ".
but before anything becomes too late i want to make sure of our precautionary actions and necessary follow ups towards his condition.

There is no known treatment. But yo may have to get him a prosthetic eye or a plastic eye to help socket growth. Other than that there is no know treatment for it.
