Dry eye syndrome

Dear Docotor,

Recently I have been diagnosed with severe dry eye syndrome and have been asked to use artificial tears drops (8-10 times a day).  Though, I followed the regimen for about 4 weeks, I find no respite from the symptoms (brning of the eyes).

Please help.

Mac
