Excessive Blinking Eyes

My 9 yr old daughter started blinking her eyes excessively about a month ago.  She is healthy and have never had any problem other than typcial sickness once awhile. I have been doing online research and learned about this symptom may related to tics.  I sure hope this is not the case.  Many had suggest that the symptom may go away by itself.  Other than mornitor her on a daily basis, is there anything that I can do to help ?  She is a pretty happy kid, doing great at school and have regular routine at home.  No apparent stress that we know of !
I don't think we need to see a doctor just yet but would like to try any home remendy that is harmless, if there are any !

Here's a home remedy that migh work:

1. Take her to an Eye MD ophthalmologist-physician to be sure there is no eye pathology, refractive error or source of eye irriation. Discuss with the Eye MD while you're there.

2. Take her after that to your pediatrician or family doctor to discuss tics and mannerisms.

While I am not a doctor, having her see her pediatrician might be a good start, and maybe a neurological and opthomaglical exam.
