Eye pain following concussion

I'm a 27 year old male and I hit the back of my head on the wall over 3 weeks ago. I hit it twice in a row out of anger, and afterward I experienced neck/head ache as well as extreme tiredness. I went to the doctor 4 days later after symptoms were still present and they said I had a concussion. They performed a CT scan and said everything was FINE! I was relieved to hear this. Every so often, I "tweak" the concussion in various ways, but haven't had too many symptoms other than headaches and neck/back aches. Most of the symptoms went away, but after about 2 weeks, I would wake up in the morning and my left eye (the side I hit the majority of my head) will be SLIGHTLY blurry for a few minutes, but then it will go away. When I'm tired, I also experience a heavy feeling in my left eye. But the thing that makes me the most nervous is that the part of my left eye closest to my nose is VERY tender to touch. If I touch it softly it gets sore for awhile. I feel a very slight discomfort even if I'm not touching it, but it's not painful. It's just weird because this pain didn't start until around 2-3 weeks AFTER my concussion. All of my other symptoms are improving except this one. And I'm not sure if this is related, but when I cry, my eye stings SUPER bad!

You will need to see an ophthalmologist Eye MD to be sure you have not injured your eye or whether you have some new unrelated problem. Ask your family MD to refer you if you don't already have an ophthalmologist.
