I got some new floaters around a month ago and went to see an ophthalmologist and they said everything was fine, including my retina. They did pupil dilatation so I was positive that everything wad fine. About a week ago I started seing a shadow in my upper peripheral vision. It kinda comes and goes and it's rather small. It mostly appears when I walk upstairs but then dissappears after an hour or so. I can only see it when I looking straight and not if I am looking up at it or down. It's really small and it hasn't gotten bigger since first time I saw it. I thought it could be a retinal tear leading to the detachment but shouldn't the shadow beacome bigger over time if that was the case ? I don't see any flashes and I am nearsighted (around -7 on both eyes) and I never had any eye related problems. The shadow takes about maybe 3-4% of my vision but I can still see that it's there. Thanks for all the help
