thinnest aphakic glasses???

My boy was born with cloudy eyes, in other words, no cornea (or scleracornea). He got his cornea transplant at 2mth old. During the surgery, it's found the poor boy also has no iris and no lens. I know his conditions are extremely rare in this world... We are still in the state of shock.
Now the problem is to find a suitable aphakic glasses (+22D) after removal of the stitches. Some told that  +16D glasses might be quite light and thin. how about +22D?
Any suggestion?

Seek out a pediatric optician who may know of a lab that makes thin aphakic glasses or is willing to call around and find out who does.  Unfortunately, the market for such glasses is small and many labs have discontinued making them.  I belive there is still a lab in Florida that makes them, so your optician may be able to track them down?

The doctor has helped to order a very thick and heavy glasses from some shop. Seems that shop has no idea where to order thinnest aphakic glasses... so we wann prepare another spare thinnest glasses...

Your child is undoubtedly under the care of pediatric ophthalmologists. They should be able to tell you vendors and sources of aphakic glasses inyour area.
