High Degree Shortsighted for 2 year old kid
Hi Doctor
I would like to seek for the opinion about the short sighted for my 2 years old daughter. She is holding objects very close to her eye passed few months and even stand in front of TV. I sent her to paediatric optometrist on Feb 2016 and data show that she had short sighted -8.00, second opinion on April from Optometrist is -5.00 on Apr 2016 and third opinion from other professor PO is -16.00. May i know whether the result will be so frustrated within 3 months?

Those results are WILDLY divergent. My suggestion would be to see a pediatric OPHTHALMOLOGIST EYE MD. The training and skill is superior to the optometrist and its obvious you need the most highly trained professional to determine what the degree of your child's myopia is. Remember this often runs in families so if you have other children have them checked also.
